This futon is made with all cotton layers of a 70% mix of “First Cut” cotton for loft and 30 % “Gin Flue” cotton, which has longer fibers for stability. This type of futon will compress over time and get harder, depending on how it is used. Some people actually like the way it gets and keep it for many years.
